Similan Islands Snorkeling Tour

About this experience

The Similans are a protected chain of nine islands with visibility that regularly tops 25 metres. This is a full-on day: an early start, a fast boat across open water, and three separate snorkel sites teeming with parrotfish, moray eels, turtles and the occasional reef shark. On Island 8 (Ko Similan) you can climb to Sail Rock viewpoint or swim off Honeymoon Bay. The park is closed mid-October to mid-May, so this tour only runs in season.

Itinerary

  Early transfer to Thap Lamu pier in Phang Nga (about 90 minutes from Phuket).

  Speedboat departure
  Roughly 75 minutes across open sea to the park.

  Coral garden at Island 9.

  Sail Rock viewpoint, Honeymoon Bay swim.

  Buffet on the island under the casuarina trees.

Pickup & meeting point

Pickup 05:30–06:30. This is an early tour — bring sunscreen and a light jacket for the boat.
